    We have been lucky enough to not have any trouble with our roosters. The 2 I currently have have massive combs and waddles... but Im very watchful for problems. But, we are very well ventilated and knock on wood.... I don't see any problems in the future.

    Yep...even when it's running. We knock the poo off every day or two. Believe it or not, she misses it more than she hits it. But thanks for the heads up! We will take it down as soon as were both able :)

    LOL... I know... she has ALWAYS roosted on that fan. The husband want to take it down for the winter, but we decided to just leave it as to not "disrupt" her evil ways. Now come spring... it's going to have to be cleaned.... so she will be displaced :) The roost is situated so they don't baptize...
