    hdowden, I'm glad to hear you think 7 is a pullet. At least we have two that put the "egg" in easter eggers. I also have a short video of our flock milling around this morning. Maybe the body language will help cement your pullet v. cockerel opinions.

    Thanks for the feedback, Chicken Frenzie. I hope you're optimism about the girl:boy ratio pans out. I'll try to grab some shots of the tail feathers. I've noticed some lustrous green plumage developing on a couple of the tails and fear that may be a rooster bellweather.
