My guess is that it is a Plymouth Barred Rock pullet. Not a sex-link but somewhat auto-sexing. Males have one copy of the barring gene whereas females have two. Thus, females are darker and have closer barring than males. In the old days, they called the really nicely barred females “ringlets.”
