UPDATE: In case anyone ever has this issue, I have had surprising results. This is the same pullet as above, just one month later. She doesn't have any points, obviously, but she's definitely growing a comb.

I figured that might be the case. If anything does continue to grow, I'll post it. Good to know about the hot weather. She's acting like nothing happened to her at all. I'm always impressed how fast they recover.

Not an emergency, just an injury question. My newest batch is 10 weeks old. The cockeral tried to mate one of the pullets and grabbed her comb too hard. The back half tore off so I put some blu-kote on it and she seemed fine. The next day, her comb was missing completely. She was pulling at it...
