3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

No, we have 26 pullets. Right now, 10 are about 17 weeks old now.

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

I have no idea about the origins of these leghorns other than they were hatched in a classroom project. Don't know if the eggs were ordered from a hatchery or they came from someone local. I suppose I could probably find out. If they came from a hatchery, I assume there is a lesser chance they...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

Pretty sure all but the one is a Cockerel at this point. She is very dainty and still has a tiny yellow comb. The other five are quite solid feeling birds with well formed bright red combs and wattles now. And all 5 have started crowing. Usually one or two of the boys follows the pullet around...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

This is how well they behave together most of the time.

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

I can tell them apart when they are all together, but there are 2 pairs that have similar looking combs/wattles that are difficult to tell apart if they are not together and then there is the runt one who was the only one that got a name when they came to us because he was so much smaller. So...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

My daughter just turned 10, so she's old enough to be instructed. We had also been gone for two days and the neighbors had been watching our flock for us. So that could have been a factor. Appreciate the concern though.

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

That's how I interpreted it too and made a mental note of it to look out for it in my further observations for deciding who to keep. We have all been very interactive with our chickens and want to be able to go out and sit with them, so a rooster that sees us as a threat rather than part of...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

When the one first crowed on Sunday it was after my daughter had picked up and was holding the Leghorn pullet. One of the cockerels does seem rather protective of the pullet more than the others. These little leghorns are now living with the rest of the flock of 22 which is all pullets...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

UPDATE: Definitely looking like 1 pullet and 5 cockerels. The boys have been sparring with each other the past week and I witnessed 1 attempting to crow the past couple days. Someone was trying to crow in the coop this morning before the hubby let them out to range. Don't know if it's only...

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

Appreciate the responses. I've been suspecting the same, but was hoping to end up with 3 and 3. That would give me 19 hens total and could feasibly keep 2 of the cockerels in that case, leaving 1 to rehome or cull. Will post updated pics in a few weeks.

3-4 week old Leghorn pullets or cockerels? Any guesses?

I know it's way early to know for sure, but anyone care to make a guess as to which one of these Leghorn chicks are pullets or cockerels? They are from the same hatch between 3-4 weeks old. Pics from today.
