    So maybe I can remove the rest of the veggies in my current bed and just continue to use that area? Create a makeshift compost, by adding grass clippings. By next spring, maybe we can use it in some potted veggies.

    Tbh the part that smells is the part that has no tarp, just shade cloth. I'm working on this. Today was bright and sunny so I pulled back the tarp hoping the sun would dry things further.

    No I don’t have a large run. It’s about 12 feet long and 4 ft wide , 3 chickens.

    I just called someone who has access to wood chips. Hopefully I can get some soon. Once the chips are in, will I need to ever clean out the poop? Or will it just deteriorate into the earth?
