This morning's update: she's doing much better :celebrate Thank goodness! She's finally walking around like normal, and I was able to put her back in the coop. I'm still watching for pecking though. Her wounds look much better, so she's on the right path :D
She seems to be doing better. She's still a little lethargic, but not as bad as yesterday. Her wound looks pretty much the same, except that it's starting to bruise (I think?). Also, she's making this wierd noise that sounds like a purr mixed with a chirp, I don't know what it means. Hopefully...
Hello! My chickens earlier got attacked by a hawk, and I thought they were all ok. Upon further investigation, one chicken has medium depth puncture wounds in her side. I can't go to the vet, but I really don't want her to die. Is there anything I can do; please help!
