    That's nice! I don't have electricity outside and they were raised in a greenhouse so I don't want the getting too cold, though they do have a covered run for warmer afternoons. How log have you had yours?

    Setramas are a joy as chicks but, they don't always make it to adulthood: 'Also Seramas can carry a lethal gene in them called the 'diluted gene', which comes from the Japanese bantam, this means that chicks, could die 24 hours after hatching, or die prematurely (not for the light hearted).'

    By the way, Seramas inherited a fatal gene from the Japanese bantams meaning 1 in 4 eggs don't hatch.

    Seramas are a little hard to hatch, some of them die in the egg and the others are very delicate. But if you go for it, post pics!
