We may have found out how to take care of the spurs. The neosporin - it will actually touch the flesh below the skin. Think that's ok?
I think that should be fine.
Yup. One of my brahma hens had her skin ripped about 2 weeks ago from the roosters spurs. Luckly, it was still cold out, so she is healing up well. If it was the summer, I dont think she would have survived.
I would put some neosporin on it.
