Same thing with my shelter. I have 2 within 5 miles of eachother, and they are filled to the top with cats and kittens. Its pretty sick how people can just dump them there. You do sound like a very responsible breeder.

Maybe contact a local Great Dane rescue. They might have some puppies for adoption. If not, then find a breeder. Not a backyard breeder, or puppy mill, and def. not a pet store. GOOD LUCK.
