I have never heard of them before, so I don't know if it does in deed look like one. I think most likely he is a cockerel, but I am not 100% sure. To me, there is still just a chance he could go either way. So have a plan b, but maybe wait another couple of weeks just to be sure?

I would guess either a cross, or just a very poorly bred one. Unless the is some other breed that ticks all the boxes? I can't think of one though.

Not a pure Buff Sussex though, as he has yellow legs. All Sussex have white/pink legs.
