    Yes. A Cochin Bantam is the EXACT same thing as a Pekin. I believe Pekins are not in the US. Pekin Queen is saying that Pekins are true Bantams. Cochins come in 3 sizes. Cochin Bantam (Pekin), Standard Cochin, and Giant Cochin.

    I have the same experience. From 3 girls I usually get 2-3 egg per day. Now one is broody so I get 1-2. Their eggs are small, but taste good!

    I have Cochin Bantams which is just a different name. Mine lay almost everyday and all of mine have gone broody at least once. Since they are heavier they tend to not be flighty. Mine have to fly up to their bar and they seem to do well with that, but when they run from me, they waddle.
