I have a small quarantine cage that I use for sick chickens. It's 24 x 18 in. I will try to splint it and see how it goes. Right now I have her inside a puppy pen in my sunroom with 3 young ducklings but I can't keep her there overnight.

This is also what I'm concerned with... Her foot feels both hot and cold at the same time.
