2 today. Not bad considering I've been eggless for 4 months while my older birds molted and my younger ones grew. I'm thinking I might have a 3rd laying. Today's second egg was smaller than the last few.

Snow?!!!! Yikes. I'm running around in shorts today in 60-80 degree weather. Tonight will be around 60. I need some cold days. The poor deer will be terrible this season.

My 6 year old came home from school today with a big bag of pumpkin guts. His teacher carved their pumpkins and I asked for left overs . Our ladies are having a blast right now.

I'm not sure of how accurate this is but I've read that pumpkin is a natural dewormer for when you get things under control. Just toss some pumpkin out once a month or so. Might want to look into that
