if you want them to be compfertable and not be stressed and crowded, then make it atleast 2.5 feet! Mine is like 7 feet but only like 5 x 5! haha, but they free range all the time! But yah they jump around and flap their wings, and you dont want them to break their feathers on the fence and stuff!
