When it comes to the basics of keeping my chickens alive and healthy I've pretty much got that covered. When I've had them before it was always a small flock of about a dozen or so and we just kept them as pets and egg layers.
Now, I'm looking at doing it larger scale to feed...
A year ago my family and I bought 5 acres in Grand Bay, AL and started homesteading it. We started with about a dozen black Australorps, a couple turkeys, and 4 mallard ducks as well as a handful of guineas.
That has grown to about 126 birds altogether.
