Some of my chicks have a little bit of a puffy face, but no signs of respiratory infections. It seems like whatever kind of lump they had in their throats has more or less gone away.
However, one of my chicks still has some sort of odd lumps on her chin. Its hard to see, but I can feel them...
They're doing much better now. I can still feel some sort of lump on some of my chicks, but it looks much better than it did. They're all eating and drinking normally and acting just fine. I'm going to keep giving them garlic until thry get better.
I got minced garlic from the store. I'm gonna dump some in their water and try to get the sick ones to eat a little bit, in addition to antibiotics and vet rx.
I don't think she's eaten anything like a bead. I'll get since crushed garlic from the store tonight and feed it to my chicks. I prefer to give it to them directly, so I hope they like garlic.
One of my chicks has a lump in her throat. After shining a flashlight down her open mouth, I spotted a big white lump in the area where I felt it. She doesn't have a foul smell on her breath. Just the white lump. She also doesn't have much of an appetite. What is this and how can I treat it?
