    Straw is fine, it's warm and they tend to not eat it. But when it gets wet, it's nasty stuff. It's not incredibly absorbent either. So make sure to keep it clean and check for wet bedding often. :)

    Their bodies learn over time to adapt to huge temp swings. We see 30 to 40 degree differences from day and night every day of the year. As yours grow, they will get used to it. Definitely offer heat at night until you find they don't need it anymore. They should be fine during the day without heat.

    I'd say they are indeed ready! You can use supplemental heat at night if they need it. If they don't need the heat, they will move away. Enjoy your babies! :)
