I'm so sorry about that poor result.
That's just terrible. You not only had to survive the incident but, you have to suffer that emotional low blow. I'm sorry for your losses.
You don't need to clean it everyday unless they have dirt in them. Don't find yourself being too excessive with cleaning.
No need for bandages either.
Keep a Triple Antibiotic on them.

It sounds like your taking good care of your gal.
My only advice is to spray Blu-kote on her wounds to keep others from being attracted to the "red" color of her wounds. Keep the flys and nats off of her and don't let her take a dust bath.

When we lived in Kentucky, I saw a sign spray painted on the side of a barn shed that housed chickens.
It read
" If your dog is killing my chickens, I WILL SHOOT IT!"
Now, Thats a fair warning.
