That's 2.86 oz. Is that huge for your chickens? I get quite a few in the 2.5-3 oz range. Largest so far is 3.63 oz. (103 grams). I call anything larger than 3 oz "extra-jumbo".

Only a couple are molting. Up until a couple of weeks ago I had 27 hens/pullets (made a trade with a neighbor) and NEVER got more than 19 eggs (usually 15-17). That just can't be right.

15/22/26 Got another blue/green today. Identical in size and shape to, (but ever so very slightly darker in color than) the one I got yesterday. Could it be the same layer, or are all three Easter Eggers laying at 19 weeks?

One is a Black Australorp, the other is a Cuckoo Marans. Both have hatched clutches previously.

12/16/19 + 7 Littles and 0 Tinys (sold all 9). Mommas are NOT happy with me!

My count (yesterday) was: 8/16 + 7 Littles and 9 Tinys. Had to have a "walkabout" while carrying my alpha roo under my arm. He was being a bad boy and drew blood from my hand. We had a little talk and I don't think he'll be a problem (for a while anyway).

They're stressed from the move. In a couple of days you should start getting eggs. However, some hens never lay.

I have. Sometimes other hens will attack the chicks. Sometimes the broody will trample some of the eggs before or as they hatch. Anything can happen with animals. If you want to take over the "parenting" of the chicks you can, but of course it's a lot more work than leaving them with the...
