What are you ordering? I don't have much experience with hatcheries, but surely there are threads from the past asking the same question. Doing a search on the BYC search function may shed some light.

Definitely not a scam. A very well known hatchery which a lot of members use very regularly. I prefer to get chicks from local breeders though to avoid shipping. Just a personal preference.
