Did you make them mad?! It could be stress related if you changed things up a bit, they don't like it when you mess up their routine, but usually they adapt quickly.
That would be up to you.
If she seems o.k. for the moment, then I would be hesitant to treat. If she has any other troubles, then I would start a round of antibiotics.
@Aunt Angus I'm sorry that she's not laid an egg yet, let's hope she does.
Hi Granny!:frow We don't want FishZole for reproductive problems, that would be Metronidazole which commonly used to treat Canker:)
I gave Aunt Angus some links in Post38 for Baytril and Amoxicillin that would be...
I'm glad she seems to be feeling better.
You likely will not find Amoxicillin at TSC. Both Baytril and Amoxicillin you can order online though.

How is she?
Did you happen to get a couple of photos of the dissected egg?
You ask about antibiotics. If I were to choose a couple to have on hand it would be Baytril and Amoxicillin. If you want one that will cover most things, the Baytril would be the way to go.
LOL Your description of her running makes me chuckle!
Mine don't like Nutri-Drench all that well either, but I still sometimes use it.
Usually I can get extra calcium into them if it's sprinkled over scrambled egg (yum)
Oh, babies in June! How exciting:)
I would give her a little more time before I started to worry. If you can catch her:D
you can always give her a treat of egg and sneak some calcium into it. If you are really good, then you can also direct dose her with Nutri-Drench or Poultry Cell. LOL I usually do give mine vitamins and...
Glad that she is feeling a little better. An egg like that can be exhausting for them it seems.
You did mention that she had yolk/albumen leaking from her vent? Did that stop? I would definitely keep watch on her for a few days, see if the crop is emptying.
Please keep us posted.
If she is leery right now, you may need to go into observation mode.
See how she's doing later in the day. She may have another egg in the pipeline and just needs a little time to work on that.
You can always grab her tonight when it's dark if you need to.
I'm going to say that was what she was trying to pass. Hopefully she will start perking up.
Do you have Poultry Nutri-Drench or Poultry Cell on hand? If you do, then direct dose her at 1cc per 3 pounds of weight. Try to get some extra calcium into her. You can crunch up a TUMS and stick the...
