    I wouldn't pull anything out. Clean the wound with saline or chlorhexidine. Apply a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment. Wrap the foot. Keep the bird on clean dry bedding. Other foot, leave it alone for now unless the bird seems to be having a real issue with it.
