I've used full strength RU in a sponge top dauber bottle, then put gloved hand under leaf and daub top of PI leaves. Tedious but works pretty good where you don't want to spray.

"Now" ?! More like for decades. @Outdoors4Life But does it work on PI...and does it kill the roots? Have used similar concoctions, only slows most plants down by killing foliage, doesn't kill them forever.

Digging it up is futile....no way to get every speck and it can re-sprout from very small pieces.
