Ohhh, that makes more sense...and DE does dry things out to an extent. It's actually added to many feeds as an anti-caking agent.

It does not prevent either. Never heard the molt one before.

It's not deadly to chickens, I've put a bunch in feed infested with grain mites.... ...but it won't deter or kill internal parasites.
