Yeah, I don’t think I’ll do the whole 30 days, and I’ve seen all of her pens and none of her birds are on the ground. All of my girls from her are healthy and beautiful, so I’m sure this new little girl will be as well. 😊

That’s kind of what I was thinking. Also, since she’s never been on the ground, is it ok to preemptively treat her with Corid to prevent Coccidia? My other girls were all treated last year.

I am getting a single silkie pullet from the same breeder my other girls are from. Same age/size, none have been exposed to any other chickens, and her birds are never on the ground before going to new homes. Do I still need to do normal quarantine procedures with this girl?
