    Some folks use DE, some use poultry dust, some use Sevin...some use a combination of some of these......they all seem to work. I just use the poultry dust as it is readily available and cheap.

    Sounds like you have a good routine already - keep up the good work! Observing your chickens will go a long way to catching any problems early. Other things I do - once a month, I completely clean out the sawdust from the coop and let everything air out. If the vinyl flooring looks messy...
