Oh, and the first one I posted is getting darker feathers on her tail now. You can't really tell from the pic, and she really looks a bit darker red/brown-red in real life...

Are these true Rhode Island Reds, or Production Reds? I bought these as Rhode Island Red pullets and they are both about 4 or 5 weeks old now...I'm thinking more towards 4 weeks. This one seems to be a bit slower in getting feathers. The one above looked exactly like this one last week, so...

I can't find any pictures of Production Reds, particularly chicks and hens, on google and was wondering what the difference between Rhode Island Reds and Production Reds is. I'm fairly certain the two I have are RIRs since we bought them as that but I was just wondering. Thanks, -Anna
