Yeah it really isn't always true. Its just a personal opinion. Pullets feathers will grow in more evenly and more consistanly. That's a fact. Roosters feathers are more sporadic. I'm still sticking to pullet. Let us know when it gets a bit older.

I wouldn't just say cockerial yet, she/he has quite even feathers making me believe it's a pullet. Cockerial around this age are patchy and thier feathers don't grow in evenly.
