Oracle's my least fave btw. Mostly because it's completely tainted by Oracle. Anything I can compile Enlightement on is a decent OS, in my book. Except OEL. Screw those hippies.

Very much so. I'm good at translating geek to human as well, which is a big help in a leadership role. I can bridge that gap between highly technical and non-technical people and keep blood from being shed. :) Usually.
This week? Fight with our compliance team. In general? Director of Systems Engineering. I own the linux and windows farms and my background is career linux admin/architect. I am OK at database things, but it's not my forte and I'm normally farming it out to people who do it better. :)
