We got our first egg yesterday. I went out to the coop when I got home from work to let them out. I checked the nesting box (as I always do) and noticed two of them were bowled out and the golf ball was missing. I looked in the coop, and there it layed on the floor.

I recently purchased 8 Rhode Island Red Hens and 1 rooster, all about 20 weeks old. I modified a section of my barn to accomidate them. Are there any major things that I should avoid doing or things I need to make sure I do to keep them healthy, happy, and laying eggs? They have not laid any...
