The breeder gave us 1 free Amerucana chick as compensation for the crevecoeur screw up and we bought 3 more Amerucana chicks at the time 3 weeks ago. So far it looks like 3 blues and 1 black. Still got a ways to go time wise to tell the gender though.

Straight run. We bought 4 purebred Amerucanas from her. One died at a week old. One was a cockerel. One was a pullet. And well one ended up being a crevecoeur cockerel. So yeah not a great experience.

Ok now I know it's a male I'm not sure what to do with it. The breeder I bought it from sold it me accidently I asked for all purebred Amerucanas. She sells straight run Crevecoeur chicks for $8 Is it worth any money being a rare breed? Should I just butcher it?
