@CarpCharacin, can you go to their post and edit out all of the s's from the https's?

Okay, @PouleChick, go back to your any of your posts that have broken pictures and edit. Once in edit mode click that little icon that looks like a piece of paper, that will allow you to use the bbcode editor. Once clicked just scroll down and remove all of the s's from the https's.

The picture show up correctly until in @PouleChick's post, but after the post reply button is clicked they turn to the x. Here it is in a screenshot of my reply/quote.

It looks like a real bug.
