That is *exactly* what happens to mine after they drink a bunch of cool water. Treatment is to get them dry & warm ASAP. Once warm & dry you may give them warmed water (102 degrees is ideal).

This can happen when ducklings drink a lot of cold water, and it can kill them. Get them warmed up ASAP and in the future, make sure they don't guzzle cold water.
