jafo I was thinking along the same line. Possibly putting a 2x4 in front of the door on the floor. But I do know how crafty those coons can be. I was once told if a 5 year old child can figure a way into your coop then so can a coon.

You did a nice job on the auto door! I'm still contemplating one for me. What is holding me back as I have said on other posts is coons lifting the door and also the possibility of drifting snow keeping the door from completely closing.
