I have just made 10 lines with drippers but no timer. it suits me better to use it when needed and as long as needed. these 10 lines are for the trees only.
I am not familiar with all those tomatoes but oxheart is a must in my garden. I also have some orangy-yellow tomato that might be yellow brandywine. it is tastier than other yellow tomatoes. red and yellow pear tiny tomatoes are tasty too. I didn't like chocolate and green pear tomatoes at all...
I give a pill for ticks to my dogs 2x a year. I hate that pill too but I hate ticks and the other parasites more. this pill is against internal parasites as well.
we had some rain but not enough. now we had mud and have to water :he I hate mud.
my little goat damaged my just planted fuji apple tree:hit within a sec she peeled of the bark (almost 2" all the way around). I hope it will start new leaves under the wound.
now I have to make new housing for goats in a no trees area. luckily there is a no tree, grass only area).
maybe that variety does not like water. or it was a bit cold for that variety. it did happened to me when I watered regularly and it was a bit chilly at nights. it also happened with okra when I planted it too early and soil was not warm enough for okra.
a cousin of mine at age of 5 "grew chicks". she saw her mother planting onions and she "planted" chicken feathers in order to grow chicks :lau
btw, my bourbon red hen is "hatching" chicken waterer :lau
I didn't need goats. and I have got 4 :lau
as my climate is a bit strange I am thinking to do the same. only if I overwinter peppers I can have them on time. tomatoes as well.
I also use coke to clean rusty nails, etc. much cheaper than chemicals.
I cut milk thistle jungle and will make raised beds with a sitting area. rain keeps me inside.
I plan to clear my garden and prepare it for summer crops. also I plan to do some digging for planting the rest of my trees. why do I always buy more before finishing the previous :oops:
