Ok, here is my little "miracle child" that according to most people never should have developed:
This is the one that had an oozing crack, a detached air cell, *and* a floating air bubble in the egg.
He made it out all on his own, absolutely no help.

Just wanted to update: One of my runner duck eggs had a broken air cell, a floating air bubble, and an oozing crack when it was shipped to me. I thought, no way would it even develop, but went ahead and put a piece of tape over the crack and propped it up in a carton in the incubator. . .

I have quite a few developing normally that had detached air cells. One that had a small bubble floating around in the egg *and* a seeping crack at the small end--I figured it was completely scrambled--but it has great development currently (day 14 duck egg). I almost tossed this egg, but...
