I dunno im throwin in the towel till it gets older and can see whats what. It does have a weird peep goin on. More of a hiss with raspyness. I know female ducks quack and males have a smokers quack but this is just weird sounding. I thought maybe it had food stuck in its throat.

I'm not a real fan of the warts on the face either. Only experience I have with them is park ducks that live off bread and crackers when I was little.

I'm hoping its not. I'm hoping it's just a mixed breed something that can stay with the others. If not imma have to find somebody with some or maybe sell this one off to someone looking for one.

I just called mine they said their main hatchery is hoovers but they use several. Theres no doubt this duck is a muscovy the feet are split black and tan on both. Its choclate with the yellow around the neck. Theres no other duckling thats matching this.

Anyone seen feathers on a mallard leg before? Just curious never saw that on any I bought or hatched out. The other leg has more feather growth on it.

Thats what I been looking at as the main ones I can't find any with the yellow ring on the neck. I did see hoover has mixed ducks to. I wonder if they sent some mixed ones with the others.
