Update lol the run was a disaster but I was able to take out the three extra roosters.
I checked them at night no mites and I checked them a lil ago no lice, so all is good there,
I also checked the vent on the one most friendly my brown one, her vent is about a quarter in size but not moist...
And to top it off my mama duck who had just yesterday decided i start sitting in her eggs, left her nest when my husband decided to put a shelter around her to keep her cool from the hot sun since he laid them by no hard. And hasn't sat again since then...
Never mind run isn't tall enough, they decided to jump out, I thought 4 ft was good, so I'm gonna pull out some pieces of 7 ft tall fence and build another. But now I have to wait to see if they go back in their coop ahhhhh grrr
I'll be doing that tonight then, I just finished the run yesterday around 5 let them out for a few hours then when I checked on then at night, they were back inside the coop all together, but I went ahead and close the coop and will open it here shortly.
Yea my pen is pretty secure the most open spot onit is between the itty bitty chicken wire, and I check early morning and evening for eggs.
With the feed as soon as they start laying I can give them it correct?
And I just pulled one of the cocks but not o boy does it want back in and it sure...

Yes they are that age we got them the last two weeks of February. Alright so until I can get new feed, what Gould I feed them for now, I'll get some extra money this weekend. We literally just bought two bags of feed yesterday, the layer and scratch.
All we have is the coop, but light comes in on all sides but the back and try top, because as my husband says its what they used when he raised them when he was with his ex wife.
I do want to make a run for them, I i was to make a run for them that goes down at a slant, out of chicken wire, for...

But I will switch back to grower as I do not want to harm them. And cut down on the scratch? Correct?
And the extra roosters we are goig to let out of the coop since...

I did not know that about layer feed, I will switch it asap and let me get pictures.
Yes always clean water and food available...
