    Safeguard wont get rid of tapeworms. Birds get tapeworms from eating an infected insect. Whatever bird ate the infected insect is the bird that you treat with the Equimax.

    Yep, definitely tapeworms. Good call @Kiki Purchase Equimax equine paste at a feed store and dose only the bird(s) that are showing tapeworm segments in feces. Dosage is 0.16ml per 5 pounds of weight given orally to each tapeworm infected bird.
