    Brown red is one of the rarest colors to find in true Ameraucana, silver and buff being the others. Black, blue, white, wheaten and blue wheaten are becoming more popular and are easy to find with a minimal amount of searching.

    Your black and white girl is indeed a barred Rock . the other hen is not an Ameraucana. She may be an Easter egger, if she lays blue or green eggs. However, with the straight comb and clean face, I'm thinking she's simply a mixed breed brown egg layer. The good news is they're both female...
