Yes they are. I had to put some chicken wire up in the rafters. I looked out one night and I could see the silhouette of 4-5 of them actually sitting up in the rafters by the raised ventilation I put in...didn't want them to hurt a foot dropping that far down...live and learn. Dennis

Here is my attempt at a new coop. I have since added nesting boxes, finished the roof and the 32 ft run...completely predator proof as I have 2 fox dens just across my pond...:) Dennis

Mostly PLymouth Rocks, RIR, and White Leghorns. I am partial to the PR's, but I recently have a menagerie of Black Americaunas, Easter Eggers, Wellsummers. We'll see how they compare. Dennis
