Thanks KelsT, - unfortunately, the superglue didn't hold. I will probably try again. I've wrapped her in a towel to restrain her, then my husband helps while we hold her down and apply the glue. What an experience!
I tried superglue, but the comb has come loose again. I'm not sure that's going to be the answer. If I were to dub, how would you recommend cauterizing?

OK, this just keeps getting worse. While bathing the chickens to wash off the blood and check for injuries, I discovered my Barred Rock has a broken beak. She is having trouble picking up food, and I haven't seen her drinking yet. As always, helpful advice is greatly appreciated!
