Well I ended up clipping both wings. One a little shorter than the other for safety measure. She did not fly out tonight. We were cleaning the horse barn out this evening so I couldn't sit and watch to see if she tried to or not.
But I locked her up again for the night....I so happy I got...
Okay, so far so good! I cut both wing feathers and she has not taken flight yet. We have been watching her like a hawk today, but I still think I will lock her up tonight just for saftey measures..
Something else that baffles me, my males is not very attentive...when she cannot fine him...

I just can't believe she is flying away from her man. They are not fighting and they just follow each other around the pen like the Pekins...I have never had trouble with the Pekins that is why my Feathers are Ruffled with these silly Geese!!
The same length or should I try to clip them a little shorter? I don't want to get them to short...but I have one issue....I live a little less then a 1/2 mile from the Wabash River in IL. 4 more city blocks and she could easily flew to river....see my concern...Thank goodness she flew into...
