3 of my chickens sleep outside of the coop. 1 rooster and 2 hens. they are of a light breed so they can fly pretty well. They roost up in a big oak tree near my house. They are managing pretty well, but I still feed and care for them. If I stopped taking care of them they would probably be fine...
