thanks everyone. I'll see if I have a small clean dustpan handy and if not, I'll use a kitty litter scoop. I thought my kids had some old beach shovels laying around but I think they all got broken.

we are using the pine pellets so when they get wet, they turn to dust. What is the easiest way to scoop it out? I was going to go buy something but thought maybe something I have on hand would work. Or should I buy a toy scoop shovel or something?
