2 more hatched in the night. Today is day 20 until 5pm. 7 out of shell. 4 still in shell-all pip, or zip. Activity on all 11 I put into lockdown. Above are the 7 below are 2 cuties... below are pip-zip eggs left...

I hatched #5 another blue copper maran.

I have 3 out and 6 pips so far #1 out, EE/NN but no naked showing... she is looking rather blue. Her dad was blue...from tan egg #2 I think she is a EE/LO from a light tan egg #3 And finally a NN from a NN egg! dad is EE. from tan egg

Now this one is out too and 5 pips...

Nice. I have one out and 5 pips so far, still day 19.

I had one NN egg hatch day 19 till 5 pm. This morning I took more pics, at that time I had 3 new, pips 4 pips so far ... One of the NN eggs just hatched let me run and get a pic.

I have 11 total, and one pip day 19.

I heard peeping- and got a first pip.

*Sigh.*

I candled my New year's eggs, and my Jan 2 eggs, and I had put one in upside down for a week. The air cell stayed in tact, and the egg is still developing, so I uprighted it.

I have my incubator near 10 day old chicks in brooder. They can hear the peeping. (don't worry there is wire holding the blanket from the brooder, not on lamp, and lamp is not too hot.)

Me either, but it is just the start of day 19.

I have been putting my eggs lockdown one day early the last 3 hatchings. The tan ones I set a day late.
