We crack ours open and put it in a clear custard dish. We can look on the bottom of the dish. That way we don't take a chance on breaking the yolk trying to turn it.
Now that is brilliant!
So heres another question. When you break an egg open to check if its fertile, will the bullseye always be on top, or you do you have to turn the yolk over if you don't see anything in case the bullseye is on the bottom side of the yolk?
