A few pics of the roof on the run, still needs shingles. And the run with the trim over the HWC seams. Still not done but it is getting there and I feel safe going in the house for a bit with them out.

While the run isn't completely predator proof yet it is enough that they can go out during the day with us there. So the chicks got to play in the run, then in the coop, for a bit today. They were so cute and funny watching them

2nd coat of blackjack 57 is done. Now taking a break for my hands until Sat when I will finish the HW cloth and my husband will put the roof on the roof covered part of the run. :) FINALLY almost to the end which is good since the chicks are now 5 weeks old.

ya I have an old pair of wire cutters or whatever they are called that my husband used for sheet metal for work. I use some other tool he gave me for smaller bends. Most times I just leave the pointy parts as my apron figuring if something goes to dig it will stab them if they go to that...

my husband does HVAC and left me an older pair of his that he uses for sheet metal. So they are decent ones, but do have a chip in the blade of course the exact size of the wire so sometimes I have to play with them to get them to go to a different spot on the blade. LOL

I think my husband has one. He mentioned that he should leave it for me. Think it is more the wire cutters that was the worst.
