    I go by what Holderread says. Don't worry if it is above 20 degrees. I've noticed that my ducks preferred to stay on hay when it was below 20. So we covered the entire floor in the small pen with hay. They went out at -2 degrees and decided to stay out. My husband let them out of the pen...
